El Torreón simmit is the most emblematic summit in the park, it has the highest elevation in Cadiz province (1654 m), from the top you can see the entire province of Cadiz and part of the occidental Andalucía
The starting point of this hike is at km 40.1 on road A-372 and runs from El Puerto del Boyar to Benamahoma
As we climb to the summit we are able to see las Sierras de la Silla, de las cabras y del aljibe, el cerro Albarrazín, Prado del Rey, Bornos and the lake
Early in the morning we can spot the wild goat
